Grab a Shell
Since 2002, we’ve been the leading kava bar in Florida (heck, possibly the entire United States!), bringing the authentic kava bar experience to North America. At The Nak, our kava enthusiasts from all over the country come to see what sets our bar apart.
Expertly Brewed Kava
At The Nak, our goal is to serve only the purest and freshest kava, reminiscent of a traditional kava bar in the heart of the South Pacific. Most of our cherished kava is sourced directly from the pristine islands of Vanuatu. Some of the noble varieties you can enjoy here include Birkar, Kelai, Borogu, Short Hand Melo Melo, and Palalrasul.
Our commitment to quality is unparalleled. All our kava undergoes rigorous testing by an independent 3rd party laboratory for strength, purity, and composition, ensuring cGMP compliance as stipulated by the FDA. At The Nak Kava Bar, the promise is clear: you will only experience the very best, uncontaminated kava.
Farm to Shell
The uniqueness of our kava bar is evident in our diverse offerings. With a minimum of five types of kava ranging from a mild relaxation to a profound chill, our patrons find their preferred blend. We celebrate the art of kava-making daily, ensuring you relish freshly made kava straight from nature. By importing our kava directly, our traceability is impeccable, tracing back every sip to its source – a testament to our commitment.
Kratom Chill at The Nak
We recognize the evolving tastes of our patrons. Hence, alongside our kava, we offer kratom products. While our heart beats for kava, ensuring a comprehensive kava bar experience means accommodating our patrons’ diverse tastes, including those seeking high-quality kratom.
What is Kava?
Kava, or Piper methysticum, is the name for the plant or beverage made from the roots of the plant. People have been consuming kava for thousands of years in the south Pacific. Kava grows best in volcanic soil and rainforests at higher elevations in soil that drains well. The Republic of Vanuatu arguably produces the best kava in the world but kava also grows in Hawaii, the Fiji Islands, the Solomon Islands, Tonga, Samoa, and Papua New Guinea. Currently there are people experimenting with growing kava in California and Florida as well.
People consume kava for social, recreational, and medicinal reasons. Most people that drink kava in kava bars do so for recreational and social reasons primarily. It is against the law to offer kava as a medicine in the United States unless done so by a medical doctor. If you are looking to relax and socialize kava may be worth a try.
